Safety in the Workplace for Photography

Purpose of the Assignment

This unit will provide the learner with knowledge and understanding of health and safety procedures and practices.

The learner will be able to carry out a risk assessment and identify potential hazards in the photographic environment both in the studio and on location.

To achieve this unit, a learner will:

1. Understand how to follow safe working practices 
2. Be able to carry out a risk assessment for studio- and location-based photography 
3. Understand how to follow safe emergency procedures
